The Minion DH F was designed for the often loose and dry conditions of the NORBA downhill series. DH F incorporates ramped and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering. Depending on course conditions, DH F works well front and rear or as a front paired with Minion DH Rear.
To summarise the Minion, DH F gives better grip and traction whereas the DH R provides low rolling resistance for faster speeds.
Dual Ply Sidewalls! Two 60 tpi (threads per inch) casings vulcanized with butyl rubber reinforced sidewalls construct Maxxis dual play downhill casings, which are world renowned for performance and reliability.
Compounds! 42a SuperTacky or 60a MaxxPro - SuperTacky tyres are much softer to provide superior grip although they are less durable than the MaxxPro. The MaxxPro compound does not provide as much grip as the SuperTacky however durability is much greater. SuperTacky tyres are a must for thorough bred racers come race day and MaxxPro is the best option for 'fit and forget' weekend warriors.
